Raja Sékaran was quoted extensively in theHealth Plan Weeklyarticle "New Antitrust Regs Could Slow Health Care Deals, Limit Data." The article examines new draft guidance released by The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) outlining their approach to antitrust enforcement. The new guidance came in the wake of rescinding decades-old guidance and could have a decided impact on health care payers and providers by further advancing the Biden administration's aggressive anti-consolidation approach.

Commenting for the article, Raja said the draft guidance "certainly gives [the DOJ and FTC] more potential areas for enforcement of anticompetitive or antitrust-related conduct." He added in addition to the implications the move "injects more uncertainty" when health care entities collaborate, "especially in any activity where even a third party is collecting data from otherwise competing parties."
