RDJ is advising University College Cork (UCC) on a EUR 50 million loan by the European Investment Bank (EIB) that will part fund the construction of the new Cork University Business School (CUBS).

Construction of the new building, which will be located on South Terrace and Copley Street in Cork City, is expected to commence in May 2024. The new CUBS will be a three to six-storey building of 15,675 square metres and will feature teaching and research spaces, a 350-seat lecture theatre, a restaurant, a courtyard and roof garden.

The RDJ transaction team is being led by Cian Fenton and Brendan Cunningham, partners in RDJ's Banking and Finance team.
