The session will be moderated by Osler's Lisa Mantello, partner, Financial Services; with panelists Matt Burgoyne, Osler partner and Co-Chair, Digital Assets and Blockchain; Mark New, senior counsel, Americas, International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA); and Douglas Donahue, partner, Linklaters.

The discussion will focus largely on ISDA's recently published Digital Asset Derivatives Definitions, pertaining to the trading of digital asset derivatives, along with a whitepaper addressing legal issues raised by the recent bankruptcies of major crypto exchanges and crypto market participants. Topics to be covered include an update on Canadian and U.S. regulatory developments, background and rationale for the development of digital asset derivatives definitions, and ISDA's next steps on the digital assets derivatives front.

There will a Q&A period at the end of the session for attendees to submit their questions to the speakers.
