HKA, a leading global consultancy in risk mitigation, dispute resolution, expert witness and litigation support services, announced that Phil Roberts, a quantum expert, has joined the firm as a Principal in its Asia Pacific business.

Phil is a quantity surveyor with over 30 years of experience in construction, focusing on the infrastructure sector. He specialises in the management of commercial and contractual aspects of a wide variety of projects. This includes managing disputes and claims, preparing expert evidence, commercial management, cost estimating and financial control, contract administration, and procurement of contracts.

Phil has worked as a Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager for contractors and property developers, which has given him a detailed understanding of the commercial issues involved in the delivery of construction and civil engineering assets. He provides practical advice to all parties engaged in the development, construction and ownership of projects.

Phil has acted as the lead expert on numerous matters and has testified in formal proceedings in Australia. He has also acted as a supporting expert in matters in the Asia Pacific region.
