The CSB Group team has kicked off the year with its 2023 Company Updates event which took place at The Malta Chamber in Valletta. The presentation started off with a speech by Group CEO, Michael J. Zammit, who praised all the team members from CSB Group and its associated brands, namely Regus Malta, VC (VacancyCentre) and Malta Sotheby's International Realty, for their hard work and for making 2022 a record year. The event also featured presentations from directors and senior managers about the performance of their various business units and their plans for 2023.
In his speech, Michael announced plans for further growth. He insisted that this year, the Group wishes to invest even further on transformation with the aim of building on the positive results which were achieved throughout recent years. He also encouraged everyone to dream big and to not be afraid of change. Jean Claude Cardona, CSB Group Operations & Finance Director, also extended his thanks to the team stating that he is proud of the results achieved, a testament of excellent team work.
The event also featured the presentation of CSB Group Star and Long Service Awards which were presented to employees for their outstanding performance and to those celebrating fifteen and ten years in employment within the Group.
The Rising Star Awards were awarded to Jan Killips Wright, Regulated Industries and Compliance Advisor, Michela Pace, Investment Migration Officer, and Thereseanne Sammut, Marketing Officer. The Shining Star Awards were awarded to Dr Kyle Scerri, Manager – Gaming & Fintech, Stephanie Portelli, Senior Corporate Executive & Projects Coordinator, and Krista Mallia, Payroll Team Leader. Moreover, Erika Brincat, Front Office Administrator, Patricia Deguara, Team Leader – Finance, and John Tabone, Dispatch Rider and Company Messenger, were awarded with a Supporting Star Award. Long Service Awards were presented to Anne Marie Caruana, Finance Manager, Keith Kerr, IT & New Projects Manager, Michael Parlato Trigona, Head of Compliance, and Suzanne Magri, Finance Assistant.
The Company Presentation served as a means through which the latest developments within the Group were shared with the whole team, thus keeping everyone involved and aiming for a common goal. The Group feels motivated for the year ahead, as it looks forward to taking on new opportunities and promising challenges in the months to come.
