The recent spate of brutality meted out by the Nigerian Police
to citizens, and more particularly, lawyers, has raised concern in
various quarters. Our associate, Caleb Adebayo writes about it in
the This Day newspaper of 15th July, 2018. He addresses various
stakeholders concerned and airs his grievances at the current state
of the Nigerian Police Force. He also chides certain lawyers for
their involvement of the police unnecessarily in their work, and in
civil actions and makes a passionate call on the NBA to do more to
stem these incidences.
