The General Bureau of Civil Aeronautics of Mexico's Ministry of Communications and Transports (SCT) was notified by the Department of Homeland Security of the United States of America (DHS) that, starting July 19, 2017, regarding direct commercial flights to the U.S., airlines will be applying mandatory enhanced safety measures.

These measures will consist in the thorough inspection of electronic devices, larger than a cell phone or smart phone, hence, each passenger will be compelled to display the electronic devices separately, without cases or protection of any kind, during the safety inspection.

In view of the above, it is highly recommended the passengers arrival to airport, within three hours earlier of the flight, in order to comply with this new safety measures.
