Corbett give an update on the additional protections for
residential tenants. At the beginning of the #COVID:19
pandemic in Ireland, the Government enacted the Emergency Measures
in the Public Interest (COVID:19) Act 2020 which provided a number
of temporary measures to protect residential tenants in light of
the pandemic. The initial emergency period provided under the
Emergency Measures Act expired on 1 August 2020.
