The CFTC appointed Melissa Netram to serve as Director of LabCFTC. Ms. Netram succeeds Daniel Gorfine in the role. Mr. Gorfine left the CFTC in August, 2019.
Before joining the CFTC, Ms. Netram was Director of Global Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs for the Silicon Valley-based software company Intuit. She also served at the Treasury and the OCC, and worked extensively on the Dodd-Frank Act while at the lobbying firm, the Financial Services Roundtable (now part of the Bank Policy Institute).
