With the current practical constraints arising from the current lockdown situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius ("FSC") has issued a communiqué on 31 March 2021 on the extension of the deadline of the filing and reporting obligations of its licensees. The deadline for licensees to submit their financial statements and statutory returns (as defined and for the periods mentioned therein) has been extended to 30 June 2021; and the timeline for filing their risk management framework (RMF returns as defined and for the periods mentioned therein) has been extended to30 September 2021.
