The Ministry of Financial Services is part of the Cayman Islands Government. The Ministry engages with local and international stakeholders to address policy, regulatory, and legal matters that affect financial services in the Cayman Islands.
Parts 5 and 7 of the NCL provide key conservation measures and tools necessary for the protection and conservation of native habitats and species.

Who: Minister of Environment, Wayne Panton

What: The commencement of Parts 5 and 7 of the National Conservation Law (NCL), along with the corresponding regulations.

Where: GIS conference room, 2nd floor, Government Administration Building. Please check in with building security in the front lobby.

When: 10:30am Monday, 15 August 2016

Background: Parts 5 and 7 of the NCL provide key conservation measures and tools necessary for the protection and conservation of native habitats and species. Examples include permits and licences to authorise various activities, Environmental Impact Assessments and matters relating to the use and management of the Environmental Protection Fund.
