AFM announces preliminary plans for 2013
The AFM has published a draft agenda for 2013, showing the
following supervisory themes next year:
- making the customer's interest a central issue
- improving the quality of financial service provision
- improving wealth creation products and advice on these
products
- financial undertakings giving non-retail customers appropriate
service
- transparent and suitable pensions
- improved quality of governance, reporting and auditing
- honest and efficient operation of securities markets and a
sustainable infrastructure
- supervision of conduct contributing to the stability of the
financial system
- targeted and swift action on serious violations of
integrity
