The Audit Committee Connect event, @ACConnect #social_media, was held in Toronto and featured presentations from Debbie Dimoff, Vice President, Consulting and Deals, PwC (Canada), Ted Shelton, Managing Director, Consulting and Deals, PwC (US) and Catherine Bromilow, Partner, Center for Board Governance, PwC (US). Topics included the importance of monitoring what is being said online, how to ensure employees know how to represent your company and the issues around employee rights and free speech with regards to social media.
