Last week, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) announced that after reviewing the impact of COVID-19 and in light of market conditions generally, it is maintaining participation and activity fees at current levels.

Last week, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) announced that after reviewing the impact of COVID-19 and in light of market conditions generally, it is maintaining participation and activity fees at current levels. According to the OSC, fee rates will be reconsidered once market conditions improve. The OSC is also waiting to ascertain the outcomes of the Ontario Government's Capital Markets Modernization Taskforce. The OSC will continue to implement burden reduction initiatives during this time.
