Experienced mediator and lawyer, Eric Gossin, joined Devry Smith Frank LLP (DSF) in 2019 as a mediator in our Toronto office.

Eric was called to the Ontario Bar in 1977 and received his formal training as a mediator in 1995, having received Certificates of Achievement (Introduction and Advanced) from the Faculty of Law, University of Windsor. He has incorporated into his practice a broad range of experiences from his practice, including Corporate and Commercial Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Family Law and Real Estate. This leads to his serving clients and providing advice in all aspects of their lives.

The broad spectrum of his experience as a lawyer assists him in his mediation practice as well. Both as a mediator, chosen by counsel to assist in dispute resolution, and as a negotiator involved in resolving family and business disputes, he brings to the table a general understanding of the multidimensional aspect of a client's personal and business needs.

His negotiation skills and many years of completing complex transactions are value-added services that only a broad experience can provide.

Eric is a past chair of the ADR section of the OBA, a fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and a member of the Dispute Resolution section of the American Bar Association.
