Cooper Grace Ward Lawyers is proud to have been recognised as an Inclusive Employer for 2019-2020 by the Diversity Council of Australia (DCA).
The annual award recognises firms that are leading the way in the diversity and inclusion space.
The Brisbane-based firm participated in DCA's Inclusion@YourWork Index, which measured diversity and inclusion in their workforce and compared findings to a DCA-Member Leading Practice Benchmark and a National Index Benchmark (derived from a nationally representative survey of 3,000 Australian workers).
The firm's results exceeded the National Index Benchmark on at least five out of six of the following measures: Awareness; Engagement; Inclusive Organisational Climate; Inclusive Leadership; Inclusive Team; and Exclusion.
Commenting on the recognition, Cooper Grace Ward's Director – People and Culture, Neil Baker said it reflects well on the firm's strong focus on culture and values which are the foundation of the firm's diversity and inclusion.
