The Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (IPA) has recognized Morrison Foerster partner Alice Connaughton with its 2022 Outstanding Service Award. IPA honors members with service awards for their ongoing demonstration of exceptional leadership within its association and an unmatched dedication of time and effort to the advancement of portfolio diversifying investments. The Outstanding Service Awards recognize individual members who dedicate themselves to improving the industry for the benefit of all.
Alice Connaughton is a partner in MoFo's REIT and Corporate Finance | Capital Markets practice. Ali's practice focuses on representing public and private companies, including REITs and other direct participation programs, in a variety of corporate and securities matters, including, among other things, public and private securities offerings and tender offers.
Ali regularly advises boards of directors, audit committees, and management with respect to strategic matters and corporate governance issues. She also routinely counsels public company clients with respect to complex regulatory matters, compliance with federal and state securities laws, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.
Ali was presented with the award by the President and CEO of the IPA, Anya Coverman, and Chair-Elect of the IPA board of directors, Matt Fries. Ali also serves as a member of the IPA board of directors.
