Langlois Kronström Desjardins is pleased to announce that Dimitri Maniatis was a speaker at ADR Canada's Annual National Conference held in Montréal in October 2014. The ADR Institute of Canada is a leading professional association of ADR practioners in Canada. This year's annual conference was entitled "ADR in the Making: New Code, New Culture," and focused on upcoming changes to the arbitral regime set out in the Code of Civil Procedure of Quebec. Dimitri is the firm's ADR team leader, and spoke about injunctions and other remedies in arbitration, having previously argued a precedent-setting case dealing with the power of commercial arbitrators to issue injunctions.
