Environmental Counsel Matthew A. Karmel has been named on Waste360's "40 Under 40" list. The Waste360 40 Under 40 awards recognize inspiring and innovative professionals under the age of 40 whose work in waste, recycling and organics has made a significant contribution to the industry. Matt, who has made organic waste recycling initiatives a cornerstone of his practice, provides legal counsel to composting facilities and anaerobic digestion facilities, as well as upcycled food companies and food waste generators. He also helped form the NJ Composting Council and serves on its Board of Trustees, as well as Chair of its Advocacy and Market Development Committee.
