Amsterdam, 12 January 2022 – Tax advisers Mark van Casteren, Rutger Hafkenscheid, Stephan Kraan and Quirijn Knab leave Loyens & Loeff to start their own company. The group will focus on providing quantitative tax advice, including the drafting and development of models for quantitative transfer pricing analysis, under the name Huygens Quantitative Tax Consulting B.V.

Mark van Casteren: "Our decision to continue independently was prompted by the group's need to continue working in a smaller context on the development and application of quantitative analyses, especially in the field of transfer pricing. Loyens & Loeff has already worked on this with success in recent years and now it is time to focus on further development with this group. A smaller setting with more focus now fits best."

Managing partner Bram Linnartz adds: "Loyens & Loeff continues to focus on integrated services in the area of tax and civil law. Our clients can count on top quality and continuous innovation in our services."

The team of Huygens Quantitative Tax Consulting B.V. remains involved in a number of current cases and clients in close collaboration with Loyens & Loeff, so that continuity of service is guaranteed.
