Matthew Attard, lawyer within Ganado Advocates' shipping practice, will be participating in a webinar being organised by Ship Management International (SMI) on the 2nd November at 11am CET, debating Covid's impact on the shipping industry and the short, medium and long-term implications, legal or otherwise, resulting thereof.

The webinar will bring together lawyers from different European jurisdictions to discuss prevailing industry challenges as the world slowly starts emerging from the effects of the pandemic. Matthew will be joined by Klaus Dimigen (Ehlermann Rindfleisch Gadow, Germany), Rona Kaspi (AKT Law Firm, Turkey) and Enrico Vergani (BonelliErede, Italy) to discuss the ripple effects of Covid within the different jurisdictions resulting into hard-hitting challenges felt across the world-wide shipping community, such as rising costs, overstretched global supply chains and congested ports. The discussion will be moderated by SMI's publisher Sean Moloney.
