We are delighted to welcome Ed O'Connell to Ocorian as Head of Transaction Management – Americas, as we continue to strengthen our capital markets proposition in this key growth market. Ed has transaction management responsibility across a broad range of debt capital market structures and will operate from New York.

Ed has over 30 years' experience in overseeing structured finance transactions, serving as primary deal counsel and general counsel for the issuance of over $20 billion of securities, including collateralised debt obligations. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Securitisation at Fordham Law School in New York since 2010, frequently writing and speaking about the structured finance industry.

Prior to joining Ocorian, Ed was serving as Chief Legal Counsel – Capital Markets and Senior Vice-President at TMF Group (formally Lord SPV). He has also been a Partner in Jones Day's banking and finance department, amongst other roles.
