The global firm Jones Day announces that Michelle Bradfield has joined the Firm's Global Disputes Practice as a partner in its London Office. She also will be developing her practice in Australia.

Ms. Bradfield has over 20 years' of experience and focuses on complex international arbitration often involving public international law. She advises and represents states and private entities on a wide array of matters, including boundary and maritime disputes, investment treaty arbitration, and international commercial arbitration. Ms. Bradfield is regularly involved in "bet-the-company" disputes and has worked for a number of significant companies, in the FTSE and Fortune 100, on disputes around the globe and including the United States, Australia, India, Sudan, China, Spain, Brazil, Nigeria, and the U.A.E. Additionally, she has worked for many States including Australia, Malaysia, Croatia, Turkey, Barbados, Oman, and China as well as numerous sovereign wealth funds.

Ms. Bradfield has also recently been appointed as a committee member to the ICC's UK arbitration and ADR Committee. She was also one of the founders of the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations, which now has a significant presence globally. Additionally, Ms. Bradfield lectures on boundary disputes and investment treaty arbitrations at King's College London and she has published widely. After finishing her Master of Law at the University of Cambridge, she worked with Sir Elihu Lauterpacht CBE QC and was a fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law for many years.
