We are delighted to announce that Wrigleys is now a member of the Brain Injury Group's Court of Protection panel.

Partner  Jane Netting will be representing the firm for Court of Protection, while solicitor  Thomas Mundy will support Jane with the work that comes from the membership. Jane is a MENCAP recommended adviser and Thomas specialises in dealing with application to the Court of Protection and helping people to put Personal Injury Trusts in place.

Brain Injury Group was established in 2011 to provide a gateway to information, services and advice for people affected by brain injury, their families and carers.

Acceptance into the Court of Protection panel involves a meticulous application process and candidates must be able to demonstrate specific expertise and experience in brain injury litigation. The ability to show involvement in the promotion of brain injury awareness and the development of brain injury support services in their local communities is also a requirement for admittance.

Here at Wrigleys we have a special focus on protecting the interests of injured, disabled or vulnerable people. Unlike many lawyers who look after the finances and wider concerns of injured people, Wrigleys are not personal injury litigators.

Instead, we concentrate on the financial and associated legal needs of people who have been injured, both during the course of litigation and for the rest of their lives. We know that injured people have a number of inter-connecting issues to deal with which often go beyond the purely 'legal' aspects.

'This team is unique because of the people in it. Not only is their level of expertise second to none, but the lawyers have a desire to help those of us who have little or no knowledge of this area of law. They are approachable and friendly and that, combined with the broad range of expertise and exceptional level of knowledge in this area, makes for an extremely high level of service.'
