An English translation of the consolidated version of the Law of 24 May 2011 on the exercise of certain rights of shareholders at general meetings of listed companies, as amended by the Law of 1 August 2019 implementing EU Directive 2017/828 as regards the encouragement of long term shareholder engagement, is now available on our website, together with a French version, as part of our compilation of the legislation relating to commercial companies.

This publication now includes the amended Law of 10 August 1915 on commercial companies, the consolidated version of the Law of 24 May 2011 on the exercise of certain rights of shareholders at general meetings of listed companies, extracts of the Law of 19 December 2002 on the Trade and Companies Register and the accounting and annual accounts of undertakings, extracts of the Civil Code and the Criminal Code in relation to companies, and, as additional new content, an augmented version of the legislation on the Register of beneficial owners.
