Schoenherr advises Borealis AG, a leader in advanced and circular polyolefin solutions, on the contemplated acquisition of Integra Plastics, a Bulgarian polyethylene and polypropylene recycler.

Schoenherr provided legal assistance in standard M&A deal components, including due diligence, guidance on the structuring of the proposed transaction, and the drafting and negotiating of the transaction documents. Further legal services included general guidance with respect to any governance or regulatory considerations within the scope of the transaction.

Headquartered in Vienna, Borealis AG is one of the world's leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals, fertilisers and the mechanical recycling of plastics. Integra Plastics JSC is one of the most advanced plastics recycling companies in Europe, producing high-quality PCR resins. It specialises in the production of top-quality low-density polyethylene, high density polyethylene and polypropylene granules, with colour variation and an annual capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes.
