Paul-Erik Veel was invited to present at the Pacific Business & Law Institute program on Métis Rights in 2024. He will share his expertise on unique issues and challenges in Métis class action proceedings, including certification decisions related to the Métis community. Additionally, he will discuss the Ile a la Crosse residential school class action proceedings, as well as the implications for the Métis community in the context of the Sixties Scoop class action proceedings.
