This proposal should harmonise the rights of the SR in the area of constructive products with the rights of EU countries. This should create better opportunities for Slovak industrial producers to enter the EU market.

Based on this amendment, Slovak producers should have the same conditions for export and import of the constructive products as their counterparts in the EU.

This amendment becomes effective on 1 July 1998.
