SPEAKERS
Elisa Henry

Elisa Henry is a recognized expert in privacy and technology law and
advises multinational and Canadian companies on strategic issues
related to compliance with Canadian and European (GDPR) law
requirements, big data and AI projects, anti-spam and data breaches.
Elisa also assists clients with technology transactions and valorisation,
including in the context of M&A, research projects, outsourcing and
licensing agreements. She co-leads BLG’s Privacy and Data Protection
practice group, and is a member of the Québec and Paris Bars.

Brian Dingle

Brian Dingle practices exclusively in the area of business
immigration and citizenship law. He acts on behalf of private
and public sector employers and employees in administrative
proceedings and applications to Citizenship and Immigration
Canada (CIC), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA),
Service Canada and Canadian visa posts abroad. Brian is
also National Leader of BLG’s Business Immigration Group.

Maddie Axelrod

Maddie Axelrod is a management-side labour and employment lawyer in BLG’s Toronto office. Her practice includes employment, labour, human rights, human resources and education law.

Steve Suarez

Steve works exclusively on income tax matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound investment, corporate restructurings and audit management, and tax dispute resolution.

Sarah McEachern

Sarah has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial litigation and arbitration disputes. She focuses her practice on helping clients resolve complex disputes in the commercial, construction, mining, health and energy sectors. She has expertise in both domestic and international disputes and has acted or advised on proceedings under the rules of the ICC, ICDR, AAA, SCC, HKIAC and BCICAC (now VanIAC).
