The Delaware Access to Justice Commission was recently established by the Delaware Supreme Court. The commission will examine the state system to identify barriers to justice and make recommendations for improvements over the next two years.

The Delaware Access to Justice Commission is charged with "the bold and ambitious task" of examining the justice system and developing recommendations to improve citizens' access to justice, court officials said.

Among other things, the commission will study Delaware's disproportionate number of incarcerated African-Americans.

Gregory B. Williams is a co-chair of the commission.
