Shipman & Goodwin partners Glenn M. Cunningham and Patrick M. Fahey have been named 2020/2021 IP Stars USA by Managing Intellectual Property, the definitive guide to the world's leading IP firms and practitioners. Both Glenn and Pat have been ranked as IP Stars since 2015.

Glenn Cunningham is the Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group and Manufacturing Industry Team.  Glenn represents publicly traded and privately held companies in industries, including manufacturing, software and technology, food and beverage, franchise, construction, and healthcare in intellectual property and technology cases throughout the United States. His trial practice includes the prosecution and defense of unfair competition, non-competition agreement, trade secret, trademark, patent and copyright cases.  Glenn is a member of the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Technology Council, and is currently serving as Global Chair of Interlaw, a leading global network of independent law firms.

Patrick Fahey heads the firm's appellate group, and litigates appeals in both federal and state courts. He also practices in the areas of business and intellectual property litigation, and represents clients in a variety of matters, including trademark, copyright, patent, unfair competition and trade secrets cases.
