Scores of creditors filed objections to kick Detroit out of bankruptcy court ahead of Monday's deadline, arguing the Chapter 9 filing was unconstitutional because it could be used to slash retiree pensions. 

"The constitutional issues have less to do with being in bankruptcy and more to do with what happens in the (debt-cutting) plan," said Michael Sweet. "I suspect that's where the judge will come down."
