Pryor Cashman represented Smart City Media, Inc., the fastest growing Internet-of-Things-powered media company in America, in negotiating a strategic partnership with energy holding company Duke Energy One, a subsidiary of Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK). Together, the partnership will deploy outdoor digital technology (e.g. digital kiosks and banners) in an effort to help people in various North American cities better connect with their communities.

On April 30, 2018, the parties announced plans for the Louisville, KY CityPost network, the first deployment under the strategic partnership.

The Pryor Cashman team representing Smart City was led by Corporate Partner Edward Normandin and Associate Gene Levin, with support from Corporate/Technology Partner Jeffrey Johnson.
