The New York Court of Appeals has agreed to hear an appeal of a
ruling that blocked the redevelopment of Shea Stadium.
The stadium was torn down, but development of the 23-acre site
was halted due to the lower court's ruling which has prevented
the construction of Willets Point West, a $3 billion mall
project.
Fox Rothschild Partner Karen Binder will be arguing for the
Court of Appeals to take the case and is representing Related
Willets LLC in the matter.
