The newly formed Platform on Sustainable Finance, a building block in the European Union's plan to green its economy, is a significant step forward in creating a shared climate vocabulary. The Transportation, Equity, Climate, and Health (TRECH) Project, a multi-university research initiative conducting independent analysis of transportation climate scenarios to address carbon pollution, has released preliminary findings. The preliminary TRECH results are intended to foster dialogue and help inform program design by illustrating how climate mitigation policies in the transportation sector can influence health outcomes.
