On August 28, 2014, the text of the EU Regulation laying down implementing technical standards ("ITS") with regard to standard forms, templates and procedures for notifications relating to the exercise of the right of establishment and the freedom to provide services under the Capital Requirements Directive ("CRD") was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The ITS include: (i) the definitions specifying the distinctions between the different types of notifications; (ii) the requirements and procedures to be followed for such notifications; and (iii) the standard forms and templates to be used. The ITS will enter into force on September 17, 2014.
