Arnold & Porter's highly regarded Appellate & Supreme Court practice recently was named toThe National Law Journal's 2022 "Appellate Hot List." The annual report recognizes the firms that have performed significant appellate work during the previous year before the US Supreme Court and federal appeals courts.

The National Law Journal's report featured partner John Elwood, chair of the firm's Appellate & Supreme Court Practice. Elwood highlighted the firm's US Supreme Court victory forLe Roy Torres, a former employee of the Texas Department of Public Safety, as one of the team's top wins this year.
