Alexsa joined the Barnard team a few years ago after she'd arranged a successful year-end function for the firm. Her attitude, skills and insight were a perfect fit with the goals and vision of the team. "I'm really proud of my contribution to the enormous growth and change at Barnard over the years!" she tells us.
On days when the work environment is tough and the team is struggling, the thick air of chaos is often broken by Alexsa's distinctive nervous laugh. "I find that it brings a little perspective and order," she grins. "There's always time to stop and remember why we're doing this. For me, laughter is the spark."

- Her first strength is Responsibility which is evident in her commitment to stable values such as honesty and loyalty. Alexsa takes ownership of what she says she will do and then does it.
- She has the Relator strength which means that she enjoys close relationships with others. She finds deep satisfaction in working hard with friends and colleagues to achieve a common goal.
- Alexsa also thrives using her Restorative strength with her incredible talent for dealing with problems. She likes figuring out what is wrong and resolving it.
- She has the Achiever strength and works hard due to her great deal of stamina.
- Her final Top 5 strength is that of the Learner. She has a great desire to learn and wants to continuously improve. This is not only true of herself, but Alexsa's job is also to 'steer the ship' toward ensuring that operational efficiencies at Barnard are met in pursuit of the firm's continued growth.
One of Alexsa's favourite sayings is, "The present will determine your future, try to do as much today without regret, do not leave a stone unturned."
