Expert Views on the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework and EU/US/UK Data Transfers

during the 2022 IAPP Global Privacy Summit

TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 2022

Join us for a timely panel addressing two of the most important topics in today's data landscape. Joe Jones, Deputy Director, International Data Transfers at Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, will join us for a discussion of UK data transfer challenges and potential UK/U.S. data transfer mechanisms. We will also be joined by Alex Greenstein, Director, Privacy Shield at the U.S. Department of Commerce, who is shepherding current discussions regarding a potential successor to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield for the U.S. government. The discussion is particularly timely given the recent announcement of an agreement in principle on the Privacy Shield replacement, the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework.
