Congratulations to BLM Associate Yasmin Khan-Gunns who has been awarded the 'Commentator of the Year' and 'Young Solicitor of the Year' Awards at this year's Family Law Awards. The Commentator of the Year category was voted for by the family law community.
The Family Law Awards were launched in 2011 to recognise the important work of family lawyers, and celebrate their many successes and outstanding achievements.
Earlier this month Yasmin was also awarded the Family Lawyer of the Year – Associate Award at this year's Future Leaders Awards, hosted by Citywealth. The Awards seek to support future leaders who excel at work and who also make an important contribution to society.
Yasmin qualified in January 2019 and was promoted to Associate in April 2021. She is a member of both Resolution and Women in Family Law and is committed to supporting people with their family law rights through her legal Instagram account, @londonfamilysolicitor, on which she breaks down family law and regularly collaborates with other organisations and charities.
