Luxembourg, 19 October 2021 - Arendt & Medernach assisted the Sponsor team consisting of Gisbert Rühl, former CFO of Klöckner & Co, and the startup investors Florian Fritsch and Klaus Brunner on all Luxembourg law aspects with the setup of a GFJ Acquisition I SE, a further SPAC set up in Luxembourg and listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (General Standard).
GFJ Acquisition I SE aims at acquiring a target with focus on ESG-related technologies supporting the path to de-carbonization including the sub-sectors Energy As a Service, Process Optimizing and Efficiency Increasing Solutions, Energy Storage, Carbon Capture, Circular Economy and Waste Solutions, Mobility as well as Sustainable Food and Packing. GFJ Acquisition I SE raised EUR 150,000,000, first day of trading was 19 October 2021..
