We are pleased to announce another major strategic milestone has been achieved for Swaab. Effective during July 2021, a new team have joined Swaab to support, strengthen and broaden our full-service domestic and international legal capabilities.

These appointments mean the addition of four new staff including two partners, which brings Swaab's total partnership numbers to 17 located in Sydney.

Swaab was recently featured in The Australian's 2021 legal partnership survey, conducted by Eaton Strategy + Search, in which it was revealed as experiencing the strongest partnership growth of Australian law firms over the last six months with 42.7 per cent growth.

Our success has come from putting our people and clients first, having a strong focus on culture, wellbeing and client service, which is reflected in our on-going staff and client feedback surveys. This is an exciting time for Swaab, as we continue to grow and meet the needs of our client's. These new strategic appointments will serve to bolster our impressive Litigation, Insolvency, Corporate and Commercial capabilities. Our new team, formerly of Gillis Delaney Lawyers, are:

  • Michael Hayter - Partner, Commercial litigation, Insolvency and Banking and Finance, with over 30 years' experience
  • Gerald Carides - Partner, Corporate & Commercial and Insolvency with over 10 years' experience
  • Suzi Stojanovski - Senior Associate, Commercial litigation, Insolvency and Banking and Finance with over 13 years' experience
  • Renee Hinkelbein - Licensed Conveyancer & Paralegal, with over 20 years' experience in Banking and Finance.
