Taft partner Melissa Macchia has joined the board of directors for the Crossroads Education Foundation. The Crossroads Education Foundation's mission is to provide equitable access to education by seeding innovation and removing barriers. The foundation partners with schools and community organizations in order to provide resources to impact students and families both inside and outside of the classroom.
Macchia is a member of the firm's Employment and Labor Relations practice group and COVID-19 Evolving Workplace Task Force. She concentrates her practice in employment law, with a particular emphasis on prevention and defense of employment-based litigation. Macchia also serves on the board of Marion County Commission On Youth (MCCOY) and was recognized as the winner of the law category for the 2021 Best and Brightest Awards.
