On the 11th of October 2019, Costas Stamatiou attended the 30th ICC FRAUDNET Conference held in Beirut Lebanon on Asset Recovery, Confiscation and Anti-Fraud Measures in the Banking System.
The conference was under the patronage of the President of the Council of Ministers H.E Mr. Saad Hariri and in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of Banque du Liban Mr. Riad Salame as keynote speaker.
The conference dealt with strategies and tools available for asset recovery as well as the use of forensic accounting and investigations. Issues concerning the prevention of money laundering activities were also discussed.
Costas Stamatiou is the representative of FRAUDNET in Cyprus. Costas and our litigation department at large have extensive experience in asset recovery and complex litigation cases including injunctive relief such as freezing orders and disclosure orders.
