Day Pitney LLP is pleased to announce that partner Namita Tripathi Shah has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel (ACBC). The College was formed in 1995 for the purpose of recognizing lawyers who have established reputations among their peers for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law. Election to membership as a Fellow of the College is based upon each Fellow's reputation as a bond lawyer, as perceived by their peers in the College.

Shah is chair of Day Pitney's Private Equity and Finance business unit, and a member of the firm's Institutional Finance and Commercial Lending and Municipal Finance practice groups. She serves as the primary attorney in Day Pitney's roles as Lead Bond Counsel and Lead Disclosure Counsel for the State of Connecticut and is actively involved in all aspects of public finance serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, borrower's counsel, underwriter's counsel and trustee's counsel on financings throughout the region.
