Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, announces the addition of attorneys Amanda N. Buchan, Ryan R. Jones, Radhika V. Mehta, Gulsah Senol and Eryne Walvekar who join as associates in its Seattle office.

Amanda defends employers in a variety of employment matters, including U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) claims and lawsuits. She also assists clients with conducting workplace investigations and advising on labor disputes. During law school, Amanda interned for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of General Counsel, where she assisted in the defense of EEO claims. She joins the firm from Winterbauer & Diamond PLLC in Seattle. Amanda received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Seattle University School of Law (2013) and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Seattle Pacific University (2006).

Ryan represents employers in all aspects of workplace law and litigation, with a primary focus on class actions and discrimination and harassment claims. He also counsels clients on avoiding litigation and advises on employment training and policies. During law school, Ryan clerked for the Washington State Attorney General's Office, and he joins the firm from Stoel Rives LLP in Seattle. He earned his J.D. (2017) and B.A. (2013) from the University of Washington.

Radhika focuses on all aspects of immigration law, advising clients on matters involving I-9 compliance, E-Verify and employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas. She also advises employers on assessing the eligibility of foreign employees and developing internal processes for immigration petition filings. Radhika was previously an attorney for Microsoft Corporation and in-house counsel for Nordstrom. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law (2014), where she served as Lead Article Editor for the UC Irvine Law Review. In law school, she clerked for the Casa Cornelia Law Center, representing immigrants with visa and asylum applications. Radhika received her B.A. from the George Washington University, Elliott School of International Affairs (2010).

Gulsah's practice focuses on all aspects of workplace law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Title VII and similar laws. She also advises clients on regulatory compliance, employee training, handbooks and investigations. Gulsah joins the firm from Akin Law Group, PLLC in New York. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law (2014) and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College, CUNY (2010).

Eryne represents individuals and companies in immigration matters, including obtaining temporary work visas and employment-based permanent resident status. During law school, she externed for the Hon. Ricardo S. Martinez of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Eryne joins the firm from MacDonald Hoague & Bayless in Seattle. She holds a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law (2014), where she was Executive Comments Editor for the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal. She earned her B.A., with High Distinction, from Indiana University (2011).
