Ottawa (July 8, 2019) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) welcomes Tiffany Murray to its Financial Services Group, as partner. Tiffany is based in BLG's Ottawa office, and brings significant transactional and advisory experience to the firm, including project finance, energy finance and securitization expertise.

In addition to advising clients in the areas of transactional and securitization financial matters, Tiffany has experience in structuring transactions to facilitate security packages for lending to Indigenous peoples. Her work in this area extends to general corporate and trust related matters.

"We're excited to welcome Tiffany back to BLG. Her strong profile with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, along with her work with Indigenous groups, are a valuable addition to our national team," said Stephen Redican, national group head of Specialized Business Law.

Tiffany obtained her law degree from the University of Toronto before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2008. Tiffany summered, articled and joined the firm as an associate before progressing to partner in 2015 in our Toronto office.

Tiffany returns to BLG following roles with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. At the CMHC, Tiffany held the role of senior counsel before being promoted to Acting Director, Law & Governance (National Housing Strategy Financing Initiatives) last year.
