Patel were shortlisted for the Chambers Diversity and Inclusion Awards: USA 2019 in two separate categories: "Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year" for Alexis and "Outstanding Contribution to Furthering the Advancement of Diversity in the Legal Profession" for Purvi. The annual awards recognize diversity and inclusion pioneers in the legal profession.

Alexis, a partner in the firm's Class Actions + Mass Torts and Consumer Litigation groups has extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in major class actions, multidistrict litigation proceedings, and state court coordinated proceedings. Alexis was recognized by Chambers for her ongoing dedication to pro bono work in the local and global community.

Purvi, a partner in the firm's Class Actions + Mass Torts, Consumer Litigation, and Privacy + Data Security groups and co-chair of the firm's Diversity Strategy Committee, regularly represents household names in high-stakes class action defense litigation throughout federal and state courts.
