This summer, 10 first-year law students from some of the top law schools in the United States will join the firm as part of Morrison & Foerster's Keith Wetmore 1L Fellowship Program. The incoming Fellows will receive paid summer associate positions in four of our U.S. offices.
Recipients of the 2019 Wetmore fellowships include:

- Marielle Greenblatt from Columbia Law School – New York office
- Catherine "Cat" Guerrier from the University of Virginia School of Law – New York office
- Michael Andrews from Harvard Law School – Palo Alto office
- Adam Smith from Stanford Law School – Palo Alto office
- Tempestt Edward from UC Berkeley School of Law – San Francisco office
- Samuel Ison from New York University School of Law – San Francisco office
- Lauren Martin from Stanford Law School – San Francisco office
- Emmanuel "Manny" Perez from UC Berkeley School of Law – San Francisco office
The Wetmore Fellowship Program recognizes and supports the career advancement of highly motivated first-year law students who are members of historically underrepresented groups in the legal industry. Fellows receive a paid internship as part of the Summer Associate Program, which kicks off with a welcome event offering a series of professional development and networking opportunities. They also receive additional programming and mentoring, bi-weekly check-ins with the D+I team, and a Fellowship stipend.
The fellowship was established in 2011 in honor of MoFo chair emeritus Keith Wetmore, who dedicated much of his time to increasing diversity and inclusion within the firm and throughout the legal profession. Since its founding, we've awarded 57 fellowships.
