The Denver Business Journal has named Denver Partners Ken Salazar and Andy Spielman as two of the most influential leaders in Colorado's energy industry. The recognition, part of the publication's annual Who's Who in Energy awards, recognizes leaders from a variety of industries including accounting, finance, law, oil and gas, utilities, midstream, and education.

Mr. Salazar has appeared multiple times on the Denver Business Journal list. As a member of the public sector, Mr. Salazar has represented the energy interests of Coloradans while serving as executive director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Colorado Attorney General, US Senator and Secretary of the Interior. Today, Mr. Salazar continues to influence Colorado's energy economy through his work with some of the most significant energy companies in Colorado and across the US. As a practicing attorney in WilmerHale's Energy, Environment and Natural Resources (EENR) Practice, he advises major national and Colorado-based energy clients on issues they face in the environment and natural resources space.

This is Mr. Spielman's seventh appearance on the Who's Who in Energy list. He is a highly regarded public lands, environmental and natural resources lawyer whose practice involves administrative and regulatory proceedings and government relations. He assists energy clients with policy and regulatory issues involved in developing new facilities, and represents ski areas, mining, oil and gas companies, and tribal governments in the public land use and environmental permitting process. Mr. Spielman serves as chair of WilmerHale's EENR Practice, and is co-partner-in-charge of the Denver office.
